I’m not perfect and to be honest, I don’t want to be. Running a home and a business simultaneously means there’s a whole lot of room for error and I welcome that. Mistakes are the lessons that allow me to be better, to do better and to teach better.
I’ve come a long way and homemaking is much easier now than it’s ever been before (thank you routines) but I’m still a work in progress. In the spirit of total transparency, I’m sharing 3 of the ways I’m still working on myself. Our goals shouldn’t be to get to a finish line, but instead run the race that feels as enjoyable as possible. That’s life. That’s motherhood.
WHAT YOU'LL HEAR TODAY:
Why meal planning is still an area I work on weekly.
How my home sometimes takes a backseat to my business.
My struggles with perfectionism, even when I think I’m not struggling.
