When it comes to cleaning your house, I’m all about finding the way that works best for you. There is no true right or wrong, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t a few dos and don’ts if you want to be efficient.

After 20,000 hours of cleaning the houses of others in my previous business, I learned a thing or two, and made a ton of mistakes along the way. In this episode, I’m giving you some tried and true tips to make house cleaning faster, easier and more efficient, so it doesn’t suck up your time or your energy. Nobody got time for that.

Running my home is something I have come to love more than most things in my life. I get a lot of satisfaction out of living in a home that feels managed and unburdened by stress. There are a few key habits I've formed that help me do that.

Today, I'm pulling back the curtain and sharing 5 things I do everyday (ish. Everyday-ish...) that keep my home running like a well-oiled machine and not like my '93 Toyota Tercel. These habits have been formed over time, after a lot of trial and error. They keep us on track as a family and me on track as a mom, wife and business CEO.

I have a pretty strict philosophy in my home: if it can be done at night rather than in the morning, I'm doing it. I love my nighttime routine with all my heart because it allows me to go to bed, set up for success for the next day before it even begins. I want to make future me proud of present me and not grumpy for having to start the morning off in chaos.
