Ep 094: Running a home when you're self-employed

Podcast_ep_094_website_image.png

It's funny to think that I've been self-employed for as long as I have been a mom and homemaker, but I've raised both my business and kiddos together.

Doing either of those two things can be stressful and time consuming enough, but doing them both at the same time take a bit of strategy (and a whole lot of letting go)

Today, I'm taking you behind the scenes into how I run my home as a self-employed mama with a self-employed husband as well.

Ep 093: The father behind Mother Like A Boss

Podcast_ep_093_website_image.png

Back by popular demand is the father like a boss himself, my husband Adam. Creating and leading my mission has been a joy for me, but it isn't always easy. With kids and a home to keep up with, having someone by my side that supports me, loves me and encourages me while also taking on half of the responsibility like a good partner should has been more important than anything.

Join us for a fun, sometimes serious, sometimes silly chat about what it's like from the dad's point of view and how he views homemaking from a father's point of view.

Ep 091: Why I don't balance work and home

Podcast_ep_091_website_image.png

To balance, by definition, means to distribute weight evenly or keep in a steady position so it doesn't fall. That doesn't sound like the kind of carefree and exciting way I want to run my business, run my home or mother my children. I've heard so much about "work/life balance" since I became a mother and entrepreneur and quite honestly, I don't practice it.

Whether you're trying to do it all and exhausting yourself by trying to walk the tightrope of work and home, or children and marriage, or work and personal, this episode is meant to encourage you to embrace the harmony of life through systems, not perfect and equal balance.

Ep 090: Being the ultimate boss mom w/ Dana Malstaff

Podcast_ep_090_website_image.png

Calling all my business mamas out there. This one's for you. Whether you're running a successful business, a side hustle, just getting started or have considered starting something, this is the episode for you. I have the boss mom herself, Dana Malstaff here to talk all things entrepreneurship and motherhood.

Dana has grown an incredible brand and along with being a woman I look up to, she's also a lovely friend with a gift for helping moms find, utilize and monetize their own gifts. As a mom of two herself, she knows what it takes to run a business and a home and believes in involving your children rather than keeping the two separate.

This is a fantastic interview and I'm so thrilled to be able to introduce you to Dana.

Ep 089: Mindset like a Boss Monday

MindsetMon_Podcast_Ep089_website_image.png

If it isn't bringing you happiness, why is it still in your life? We hold onto things, physical and otherwise for too long. What doesn't serve us is taking up space in our home, our relationships and our souls. Time to let go of what isn't serving us.
